Community Groups

The church centre is a hive of activity for many different groups around the community. We have a selection of rooms that are available for booking, from small meeting rooms to the church itself. Are you elderly, a couple or live alone and would like company each week? Maybe this is for you. Hornby Railways Collectors’ Association - Wessex Group (Monthly)
The Club is a social forum for enthusiasts of historic Hornby railways and where the focus is on “playing trains” rather than detailed railway modelling. We have traditional table-top layouts for both 0 and 00 gauge (2-rail and 3-rail) and members are encouraged to bring and run their own rolling stock. Visitors are welcome too. The Club charges modest membership and attendance fees (which include refreshments) and meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
